Museum Reserva 2012. Esse vinho nos deu um susto. Compramos em Cáceres, Espanha, em junho de 2018, ficou esse tempo todo guardado em nossa adega, na horizontal, protegido da luz, tudo como manda o manual. Em abril colocamos ele na nova adega e estava tudo bem, ou não. Quando o peguei no domingo, notei que uma gota havia escorrido, manchando o contra-rótulo. Difícil entender o que aconteceu. Antes de abrir, precisei limpar a rolha e coloquei o saca-rolhas esperando que ela partisse. Isso não aconteceu. No vídeo que publicamos no Instagram, pode-se notar que ela até saiu muito bem. O vinho foi para o decanter e esperamos 20 minutos para a prova. Estava bom, ou melhor, excelente.

Na taça estava brilhante, já com um tom indo para ocre (há um vídeo também), no nariz compota, frutas secas e condimentos. Na boca foi interessante notar a acidez presente de um vinho gastronômico. Alguns diriam que ele estaria no auge, outros na descendente. Eu diria que ele dobrou a curva, mas estava muito bom para quem gosta de vinhos mais antigos e elegantes. Harmonizou bem com uma lasanha suculenta.

We bought it in Cáceres, Spain, in June 2018, and it was all this time stored in our cellar, horizontally, protected from light, everything as the manual says. In April we put it in the new cellar and everything was fine or not. When I picked it up on Sunday, I noticed that a drop had dripped, staining the back label. Hard to understand what happened. Before opening, I had to clean the cork and put the corkscrew waiting for it to break. That did not happened. In the video you can see that it leave very well. The wine went to the decanter and we waited 20 minutes for the tasting. It was good, or rather excellent.

In the glass was bright, with a tone going to ocher (there is a video too), in the nose jam, dried fruits and spices. In the mouth it was interesting to note the present acidity of a gastronomic wine. Some would say it would be in the prime, others not. I’d say it turned the corner, but it was very good for those who like older, more elegant wines. It harmonized well with a juicy lasagna.
